Three more days.

Three more days.  That's all that stands between me and a school exchange trip to the University of Edinburgh.  I have never been to Scotland and I will admit that my limited knowledge of the area is mostly dependent on a certain Mel Gibson movie that came out close to twenty years ago.  Nonetheless, just 72 hours until I and some of my fellow students will depart to learn more about counseling and psychotherapy practices in the United Kingdom.  While there, we hope to collaborate on research projects, present at an international conference and exchange ideas and methods on how to better prepare future counselors, with the University of Edinburgh's students and faculty.  The trends of counselor education as a field is growing both on the national and international level, and I'm fortunate for having entered the field at this time.  I couldn't have asked for more in regards to my education at William and Mary, and now here I am, able to take this opportunity to attend a beautiful country and enrich my education.  Oh, and I should mention that the school helped fund a substantial part of this trip for all of us.  Again, I couldn't have asked more from an already amazing institution.  Thank you William and Mary!
